Il-Ħaġar is hosting an Anne Frank exhibition from called “Let me be myself” focusing on Anne and her family plus in contrast presenting the struggles, prejudice and discrimination by modern-day youngsters. The Tayar Foundation notes that this worldwide exhibition uses this Holocaust victim to teach about contemporary human rights issues.
Posters, videos, an impressive model of her famous house and Maltese stamps with Judaica connections can be viewed. It should be noted that Jewish coins and other items are included in this museum’s permanent exhibits. Free entrance.
