Take in the sunset whilst sipping on Sangria and tucking into some of the best cold cuts in Gozo.
Iberico Restaurant is a Tapas Restaurant in Gozo and these are the dishes you simply must try!
Al final! The Spanish vibe is brought to Gozo island. Experience tapas with drinks to match in the heart of Victoria, Gozo’s capital. Headed up by experienced chef Saul Sanchez, (formerly Caviar & Ball) this new restaurant is situated in a unique and listed building by Savina Square.
We enjoyed a selection of tapas, the most amazing cold cuts founds on the island, alongside Sangria and cold, refreshing beers whilst witnessing a stunning sunset right before our eyes.
You simply must have the Iberico Ham and Chorizo cold cuts – they are spectacular.
We also tucked into Broken Eggs (Huevos Rotos), homemade Iberico Ham Croquettes (Albondigas) Meat Balls and Spanish Iberico Chorizo which were all super tasty.
Wash your meal down with a carafe of homemade Sangria or a cool Spanish beer. We opted for Estrella and San Miguel.
The restaurant benefits from a high terrace, so it really feels like you have found a little corner of Gozo that nobody else knows about. You are over-looking the goings-on in Savina square, the beautiful Santa Savina Church and level with the birds going about their business at dusk.
