Gozo’s newest luxury hangout boasts a truly enchanting setting. As you step into the restaurant, you are greeted with knockout panoramic vistas of Mgarr Harbour and the sparkling Mediterranean Sea. And they have cleverly managed to create a dynamic interior of refined luxury and sophistication plus an atmosphere to match. No mean feat. It’s modern, swish, and offers a fantastic chance to dress up!
The interior design was undertaken by Naomi Pirrone and, I must say – she has nailed it. It’s contemporary and elegant with cozy, plushness in all the right places, and above all, it complements the stunning outdoor terrace.
Oliver Glowig, Culinary Master
Chef Oliver Glowig earned his first Michelin Star at the Acquarello Restaurant in Munich, he went on to work at The Capri Palace Hotel & Spa and lead his kitchen brigade towards one and then two Michelin stars within a few years. In 2011 he moved to Rome and opened within the Aldrovandi Hotel Villa Borghese with more success, resulting in another two Michelin stars. He comes to Gozo with his team, Giona Carannante and Mirin Delussi, and some real authentic culinary baggage.
Glowig showcases this culinary expertise through imagination, flare, and a burst of vibrant colours and flavours. His philosophy is rooted in authenticity and innovation and he seamlessly combines classic Italian techniques with locally sourced ingredients to create a menu that will no doubts turn heads.
His dishes reflect a harmony of taste, texture, and visual artistry, making each plate a masterpiece to behold and savor.
