Gozo’s newest luxury hangout boasts a truly enchanting setting. As you step into the restaurant, you are greeted with knockout panoramic vistas of Mgarr Harbour and the sparkling Mediterranean Sea. And they have cleverly managed to create a dynamic interior of refined luxury and sophistication, plus an atmosphere to match. No mean feat. It’s modern, swish, and offers a fantastic chance to dress up!
The interior design was undertaken by Naomi Pirrone and I must say – she has nailed it. It’s contemporary and elegant with cozy, plushness in all the right places, and above all, it complements the stunning outdoor terrace.
Chef Oliver Glowig earned his first Michelin Star at the Acquarello Restaurant in Munich. He went on to work at The Capri Palace Hotel & Spa and led his kitchen brigade towards one and then two Michelin stars within a few years. In 2011 ,he moved to Rome and opened within the Aldrovandi Hotel Villa Borghese with more success, resulting in another two Michelin stars. He comes to Gozo with his team, Giona Carannante and Mirin Delussi, and some rea,l authentic culinary baggage.
Glowig showcases this culinary expertise through imagination, flair, and a burst of vibrant colours and flavours. His philosophy is rooted in authenticity and innovation, and he seamlessly combines classic Italian techniques with locally sourced ingredients to create a menu that will no doubt turn heads.
His dishes reflect a harmony of taste, texture, and visual artistry, making each plate a masterpiece to behold and savour. From fresh seafood delicacies to succulent meats and vibrant vegetables, each dish tells a story. The menu is thoughtfully curated and embraces seasonal produce, ensuring a dynamic dining experience with every visit.

We were lucky enough to meet Wine Specialists Rebecca Degaetano from Marsovin, who lovingly recommended wine pairings to accommodate each dish on the Degustation Menu. The team ensured every aspect of our dining experience was tailored to perfection. What a treat!
