Sophie visited Gozo in 2018 and like many was completely captured by the enchanting island and knew this was the place to create her wellness salon. With 10 years of experience in France and inspiration from travelling SE Asia, Sophie envisaged the space she would like to create and L’instant Precieux was born in 2019. The experience is serene, soothing, and rejuvenating. Knowing the importance of giving clients her best, Sophie limits the number of people she treats in one day to ensure you receive maximum benefit, before, during, and after your treatment in the relaxation cocoon.
The treatment menu has been meticulously created to include divine body care and facial rituals and scrubs, incorporating traditional Eastern techniques. Sophie also offers a gentle Pregnancy Massage from four months on and a Little Angels Massage, a shorter, tender treatment to soothe your little one’s body and relax their minds, suitable for ages 1-13yrs. All Sophie’s offerings have deep effects and you can often feel the amazing benefits for a long while after.

Sophie works with the natural, organic French brand Altearah, who has created a series of essential oil synergies represented by different colours, each colour reflecting certain emotions or energetic states. You simply choose the colour you are drawn to most, with your eyes closed and this is the feeling or energy state which you need more of that day. Whether it is renewal, creativity, or calmness, for example, Sophie uses this formula and adapts your treatment to further meet your specific needs, bringing balance into the body and mind. If you are sensitive to essential oils, then plant-based oils are offered as an alternative. Altearah products (sprays, serums, oils and parfum) can be purchased from the salon and Sophie will consult you on the most suitable formula for you.
Claire experienced sixty minutes of pure bliss with the Free Spirit Massage plus a nourishing Foot Scrub. Take me to heaven! When entering the salon I instantly felt at ease and super calm due to the harmonious space and Sophie’s warm, welcome. I loved the process of choosing the Altearah colour, it certainly was exactly what was needed that day, the smell and sensation were heavenly and subtle yet powerful. The brand exudes high quality.
Sophie has a real gift she intuitively picks up on your needs and adapts and evolves your treatment to match. It’s a very special experience.
