Let Me Tell You A Story About A Wonderful Woman Called Mary Tudor.
When I Stand In My True Power and the eighty-one beautifully printed pages in this book, gently found its way to me through the channel that is Mary Tudor. It is a collection of powerful affirmations to comfort and challenge. A handprint in time that evokes curiosity and in turn opens the way for our true power to arise.
Something About Mary
Mary Tudor was an inspiration and a friend. She died of Motor Neurone Disease in 2018 and was a guiding and loving force to all who met and knew her. She chose to die naturally, refusing medical assistance and left behind these words which will live forever. Her book is both testament to her commitment to her own soul’s journey and to her inner strength and understanding of our true power as souls having a human experience on this planet.
Mary was a lover of words. She appreciated their resonance and their ability to generate feelings. She understood their power to inspire or deflate, isolate or include, and to evoke love or fear. She also recognised the importance of being aware of what we say and what we think and more importantly, what we believe. She reminded us to listen to ourselves.
Mary was inspired by an extraordinary experience at a meeting and discovered that by simply holding and observing the words “When I Stand In My Own Power”, situations and experiences were transformed and guided her journey into a deeper understanding of her own personal power.
This practice evolved over a number of years and it took an epiphany and a subtle shift with words, to settle into something that resonated as her personal truth.
With the rhythm and pattern of inquiry, unfolded a collection of powerful phrases, harnessed more fully by adding just a few more words to each truism. At this point, Mary knew she had been writing a book and it was complete. What revealed itself is a significant bedside companion brimming with powerful mantras.
Go Slow. When I Stand In My True Power, By Mary Tudor
We are living in a time of rapid change into higher consciousness. This book encompasses the fact that we are living in a new paradigm of power and beautifully illustrates what that means. Open the pages and you will uncover a deeper understanding of the self and our purpose, of service, and how we show up in the world.
The messages found in this wonderful bedside read, are certainly of the moment.
‘When I stand in my true power I celebrate my beauty. I breathe with this and know it to be so.
When I stand in my true power, I see another for who they truly are; a mirror of me; a child of the universe, a reflection of light. I breathe with this and know it to be so.
When I stand in my true power I know that my opinion is just that. An opinion. I breathe with this and know it to be so.
When I stand in my true power I know the gifts of a quiet mind. I breathe with this and know it to be so.
When I stand in my true power I am consciously connected to myself, my soul, my source. I breathe with this and know it to be so.‘
