The plethora of dive sites in Gozo caters to divers of all skills and levels. The island’s waters are teeming with a vibrant array of marine life. You can encounter an impressive variety of species, including colourful reef fish, octopuses, groupers, moray eels, barracuda, rays, and even the occasional sea horse.
Get Wrecked
If you are all about the wreck you can explore historical remnants beneath the sea. like the MV Karwela, an ex-Gozo ferry intentionally scuttled in 2006, and the MV Cominoland, a former passenger ferry sunk as an artificial reef in 2009, and most recently, the oil tanker, Hephaestus was scuttled to Xatt l-Ahmar in August 2022. All provide and have transformed into thriving artificial habitats, hosting an abundance of marine life.

During this period, divers can expect pleasant water temperatures ranging from 18°C to 25°C (64°F to 77°F). Visibility can reach up to 60m providing excellent conditions for exploring underwater wonders.
