Gaulitana: A Festival of Music announces Puccini’s best-loved opera La Bohème to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the composer’s death.
Joining celebrations around the world marking the musical legacy of the Italian master, the full-scale production of the opera associated with youth full of life at the heart of the city of lights shall be directed by Enrico Castiglione featuring an international cast, the Gaulitanus Choir and the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Colin Attard.
The opera highlights the 2024 Gaulitana edition presenting a multifarious programme of events running over 5 weeks, following on last year’s La Traviata, boasting with a “top-notch cast” greeted by “enthusiastic audience” (OperaClick).
Gaulitana: A Festival of Music is principally supported by the Investment in Cultural Organisations – Gozo of Arts Council Malta and the Ministry for Gozo.
