The catalogue for the current collective temporary exhibition at Il-Ħaġar Museum, Unknown Prescription, number 28 in Il-Ħaġar Gems series, will be launched on Saturday 17 February 2024 at 11:00. The 140 pages catalogue, edited by exhibition curator Austin Camilleri with Joseph Borg and Maria Frendo, includes reproductions of the exhibits as well as a range of write-ups. The catalogue opens with a Foreward from Founder Mgr Joseph Farrugia and a detailed Curatorial Note by visual artist Austin Camilleri. Philosophy lecturer Niki Young explores Mario Abela’s work. Creative producer Gabriel Zammit then deals with Charles Balzan. The third collective exhibitor Justin Falzon is discussed by Maria Frendo. Besides these essays, the volume also includes biographical notes of the three exhibitors.
The event is free of charge but seating reservations are to be requested via email to events@heartofgozo.org.mt.
The exhibition Unknown Prescription runs until 14 April. Entrance to the Museum is Free. Normal opening hours are 9am to 5pm seven days a week.
